The Positive Effect Of The Oil Price Rise
"The high cost of oil is bad for the economy, but is it good for the climate?"
in The Guardian which actually tries to look at the positive side of the oil price rise( more than 130$ a barrel all time high).
Well ,the high rise in petrol price might actually help in fighting the problems like global warming .
This lines consummates what the author wanted to say.
"Several theories were emerging yesterday over the environmental effects of oil at $130 a barrel or more. In the green corner were the optimists, who believe that the shock will force people to cut their energy use, invest in renewable and energy conservation, downsize their cars, take fewer foreign holidays and reduce greenhouse gas emissions."
In India a price hike of rupees 10 is suggested . The price hike at least might force many lazy people like me walk to neighbourhood grocery store instead of using the bike and prefer public transportation over the luxury of a private car for long distances.

A 256Gb SSD
Flash memory does not have the mechanical limitations and latencies of hard drives, so the idea of a solid-state drive, or SSD, is attractive when considering speed, noise, power consumption, and reliability.
Samsung announced a 256Gb SSD.
So hope to get your hands on a affordable Flash based SSD soon. via EngadgetPosted by Rahul at 10:53 AM 0 comments

Steve Ballmer Egged !
Remember the incident- Bill gates pied a few years ago.
Now, its turn of his buddy and CEO of Microsoft ,Steve Ballamer (though it was eggs this time) .
This incident happened at the Hungarian University of Economics.
A person just stood up and yelled "give back the money of the taxpayers " and started throwing eggs at Ballmer.
The apparent reason being the deal between Hungarian government and Microsoft which is worth billions in the Hungarian currency which is obviously taken from the taxpayers pocket.

Tvs Apache RTR 160 Efi Err 2008
Few weeks back I got a call from my friend saying that Apache Rtr Efi is out.Few hours later I was at the Tvs showroom and this is what I saw at the entrance
the first thing that caught my eye was the new side air scoops ."Yes this is it, this is the Rtr Efi displayed at the Delhi Auto expo earlier this year," I thought.
A closer look revealed this :
The new side air scoops Same sporty engine guard
Same Digital console
Same metallic bars.
Same petal disc, same grab rail etc.
And Same Name:
Wait a sec where is the name Efi ?
can't find it anywhere !!!!
and Wasn't that supposed to have the strips instead of the one shown belowUnable to control my excitement went in to enquire the tech specs , to my disappointment the personal at the showroom informed that this not the Efi but RTR 2008.
Though the fact that there is still no Efi is a bit saddening but this Apache RTR 2008 is good ,the side air scoops add to the already good looking apache RTR giving the bike a bulky look from front. Mileage and other specs remain same.
Another change though (nothing to do with the look) is the new data logging feature which includes lap timer, 0-60 kmp time, and top speed(good one).
Riding experience soon!!!!!!!!!!!.
